What To Do To Get Person Out Of Pentazocine Addiction?

Dear Dr, My nephew has been addicted to pentazocine for the past 4 years. He has been injecting himself with it and the tissues on his upper thighs have been badly damaged. All efforts to change his habit were abortive. Please, what can we do to get him out of the addiction? Mobolaji

I am really sorry about his problem. But, these addictions cannot be abortive with simple measures. He needs to taken to de-addiction center. A structured program has been developed by them to get rid of this kind of problems.
