What Treatment Do You Suggest For Lump Inside The Vagina ?
I have recently been to my doctor because I had an uncomfortable sore feeling just on the inside of my vagina. Swabs were taken and the results came back all clear. The symptoms persisted. I saw the nurse who upon examining me discovered a red area, like a graze about 1-2cm inside my vagina. I was given a prescription for an antibacterial gel to be inserted daily over 5 days. Last night I went to do the first treatment and discovered almost a blockage. It is a soft squishy lump on the left side of my vagina about 2cm inside and about 1-2cm big. It is painless to touch. I've read about cysts but is it too far inside? It doesn't feel like my cervix is 'meant to feel' and anyway is it not too low down? I will continue with the antibacterial gel but it is uncomfortable. Please help.

As you are saying that the smear reports were all positive and you were prescribed an antibacterial suppositry to be put inside the vagina. These cysts are sometimes/ mostly bacterial in origin .The causes being chlamydial or due ti bacterial vaginoisis. So you need not worry and wait for 5 days till the course is over But since you are saying is us too uncomfortable , visit your gynoe and get yourself examined. Take care
