hello welcome to health care magic
heavy menses are painful menses is indication of endometrosis orelse fibroid.
you need to go for ultrasound of pelvis to rule out exact cause.
consult gynaecologist or homeopath with your reports.
good luck have food rich in vitamin and iron as heavy menses may land up to anemia most of the time.

General & Family Physician, Dr. P. Mahesh's Response
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
PCOS is known to cause heavy bleeding. In addition if you have endometriosis, periods will be painful. Even endometrial pathology, such as polyp can cause heavy bleeding. If no cause is found it is called dysfunctional uterine bleeding, which could be due to cysto-glandular hyperplasia. Heavy bleeding should not be ignored. You have to consult a gynecologist, who will have to examine you, do the necessary tests including ultrasound study and accordingly treat you.
YOU NEED TO SEE YOUR GYNAECOLOGIST AGAIN ....MESTRUAL IRREGULARITIES R QUITE COMMON IN THIS AGE .... U MUST BE ON SOME DRUGS ALSO ..IT CAN BE AS ARESULT OF THEM TOO....GET YOUR HB/TLC/DLC/ESR DONE & VISIT YOUR DOC
