My husband has been on narcotics for chronic back pain since 1990. He goes through withdrawals every month because he runs out of his prescription. Is there a particular drug that can help him wean off of Oxycodone? He still needs pain medication but doesn't want to take narcotic type medication. He was on Ultram at one time and seemed to help. Any suggestions? A rehab is out of the question.
