What's The FDA Unapproved Medicine Which Is Effective In Treating Osteoarthritis Easily Available In Latin American Countries?

I was told of a medicine that may be at least partially effective in treating osteoarthritis; has not been approved by FDA, so not available in USA. But available in Latin American countries, possibly Europe. Can you identify or make several suggestions? I had written it down and looked up the equivalent in Chile, Peru, Colombia, but have misplaced it, and a friend is in Colombia today.
Thanks

hi,
If you could find generic name of drug and revert back to me then i could have commented upon its usefulnees in OA.
Any medications are under several trials and once its benefits are proved in certain conditions then only FDA approves it for that condition. It has been seen that although a drug found effective in a condition led to some serious disease/condition which is used prior to approval.
So I will not advise you to take any medication which is not approved.

Thanks and regards
