When Should The Blood Test Be Taken To Confirm The Pregnancy?
Hello Doctor, I have been taking my Jaz birth control pills for the first time in my life starting the package on April 22 (first day I got my period). On May 1st, I forgot to take the pill but took it at 3:00 pm next day complementing it with the one of that day at my regular time of 9pm. I have sex April 30, May 2, May 3 and on the 4th I felt a pain on my tummy, excess peeing, nauseas, and a pink blood spot on my underwear. I went and took two test of two different brands and the result was positive, but one line was mark really strong and the other in a really light pink. I want to know when can I take the blood test, and do I have an option to not have it or is too soon or two late. Or what is recommended, I just feel very confused. Also, Im still missing 7 other pills from the package until I get my period. Thank you so much

were ur periods delayed
most importantly u should know that weakly positive upt with spotting & pain in tummy can point towards ectopic pregnancy & demand urgent ultrasound, gynaecologist check up, bhcg ( blood test )
if ectopic pregnancy diagnosed u may require emergency laparotomy
alternatively weakly positive upt with spotting could indicate early pregnancy
were ur periods delayed
