HI, FOR MY SON, WE GAVE FIRST TWO DOSE OF DPT PAINLESS VACCINE (PENTAXIM) BUT FOR THE THIRD DOSE WE WANT TO GO FOR PAINFULL (NORMAL) DPT. IS IT OKAY? OR SHOULD WE CONTINUE WITH THE PENTAXIM COURSE.

ALSO, PEOPLE SAY THAT PENTAXIM IS LESS EFFECTIVE THAN THE PAINFULL VACCINE; IS IT TRUE?

So now a days advice is that baby should receive at least one dose of painful one . For your baby go for painful vaccine this time . Hope I have answered your query .
