I seem to have white spots mostly on my right tonsil and a little bit on the back of my left. I have no pain at all and when I did investigate I found that the spots do come off but have a much more mucusy consistency in comparison to a tonsil stone (which I also get from time to time). Your help is greatly appreciated, thank you.
Hello, Well come to Health Care Magic. I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. In my opinion this appears as keratosis. these are secretions which gets collected in the spaces(Crypts) of the tonsils . there is nothing so serious. and it is common condition. i will suggest you to do regular gargling after the food. and maintain the oral hygiene. in some cases where it becomes troublesome. it needs to be removed by surgery. Wishing a good health. Thank you. Dr Ajay Lavania
