Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I like to eat a lot of food, but I never really get the time to anymore. My weight is also considered "anorexic" based on my BMI, but I have never been anorexic. And when I eat, even eat a lot, nothing happens. I don't gain any weight. So what I'm worried about is this actually turning into anorexia. What do I do?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Try to prepare a weekly diet chart for everyday with food you should eat in different hours. So, if you think you dont have time to eat in some moment, you can put some food like: fruits, yogurt, chocolate, salats, homemaid tost etcetera.
Put in your diet vegetables, fish, red meat, chicken, beans, eggs and other products with high proteins and fibers. Monitor your weight every week to see what is going on.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Elona Dashi
