Why Am I Having Sore Throat Even After Finishing A Course Of Antibiotics For Strep Throat?
I ve had Strep throat twice in the past 6 wks. both times I finished all of my antibiotics. finished my last round a week and a half ago. Im 42 and had never previously had strep. and here I am again today with another sore throat feels like the last 2 times. Why could this be?

hello. there can be various possibilities, first is that it may not be a strep infection and may be due to viruses, another reason maybe that the antibiotics , which you took may not be completely effective against strep and you may have to change them. please meet your ENT doctor for further advice. thanks
