Why Am I Having Swollen Lips After Taking Cocaine?
I admit I've had a slight problem with cocaine, but the last 2 times I have done it, my lips have swollen right up. I snort, and I do "gums" which is when you put a bit of coke on your gums and tongue to numb your mouth. I do that every time, why have my lips swollen up the last 2 times?
It is likely that the swelling is occurring as a result if the irritant and inflammatory effect of the cocaine on the mouth. It can also cause reduced blood flow to the mouth and nasal passages eventually causing breaking down of the tissues in either of these areas.
Though stopping an the use of these drugs can be difficult because they are addictive, it would really be in your best interest if you would try to get some help to stop. In the long term, the use of cocaine or any of these drugs can only lead to problems for yourself and your family or friends.
I hope this helps
