Why Are Breasts Tender After Undergoing Medical Abortion With Heavy And Clotted Bleeding?

hi, am 21 had a medical abortion at 62 days.i started bleeding 2 hours after i took the searle 1461, i took 4 pills.i had 3 very large clots aswell and stopped bleeding after 5 hours, lately i only see some spots when i wipe on the tissue its been a day and a hal , am not bleeding anymore but i have some pain from one side of my tummy and am constipated too.my boobs feel tender at times but thats the only pregnancy sign that i still have left.is there a chance my abortion failed.i have an appointment with the doctor i just cant wait that long and am worried sth may have gone wrong. please try to be as descrete as u can as abortion is illegal in my country

Now regarding the bleeding, you did have heavy bleeding with 3 large clots.
You have only been spotting, so most probably the abortion is complete.
Some kind of pain and tenderness is common after the abortion.
THis is because of residual hormonal levels.
This is the same reason you are still having breast tenderness.
Even if all the tissues have been expelled, the HCG ( pregnancy hormone ) lingers in small quantities in the body for some weeks
This can cause small aches and pains and soreness.
The most confirmatory test to know if the abortion is complete is to take a pelvic ultrasound scan.
It is not reliable to take a urine pregnancy test.
