Why Do I Have Irregular Periods?

I am 21 years old. My menstrual cycle is quite irregular. It is generally a 45 day cycle. But 3months ago i had my periods after 30 days and the next one after 28 days. the next was due but i did not have it till now, It is already 62 days since the 1st day of my last period. What may be wrong? I have never skipped a period earlier.
