Why Do I Have Pain In My Neck?

My neck has been hurting for the past three days and the first day I thought it was just that I slept wrong. As each day passes the pain is less and less but now I have like a heat sensation on my arm on the same side is it related or is it a serious problem?

Dear Friend.
Neck pain of 3 days can be due to muscle spasm. Due to incorrect posturing.
But a simple neck spasm pain doesn't radiate to arms.
if the pain is radiating to arms and has tingling or numbness associated , it is a sign of nerve compression. Can be due to cervical spondylosis.
You need to visit a doctor , as a clinical examination would clear the picture and if required you will be posted for imaging studies.
Good luck. .
