Why Do I Have Palpitations When Nervous And Anxious?
Hi Doc - occasional i do feel my heart skips a bit or two followed by a strong beat. A lot of ppl i talk to says that is common and not life threatening. Is that true? when that feeling happens i get very nervous and worried and that impacts my life . Rightfully what should i do? Thanks much and Regards to ALL
I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. Palpitations or missing beats are common during anxiety and nervousness. Don't worry. Lately you are becoming more apprehensive and anxious. That is the reason you are having these symptoms. Fear is objective and anxiety is subjective apprehension. You are apprehensive about your health condition and that is Hypochondriasis. Relaxation, awareness, health condition and psychotherapy should help you overcome your problems.
You can post a direct question to me in this website. Include every detail as much as you can. I shall prescribe some psychotherapy techniques to control your condition. I am sure that the techniques should be a success.
Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications. Good luck.
