Why Does It Feel Like Cold Air Hitting My Face Makes It Worse?
What can I do to relieve TMJ? I think that I got it from moving my jaw around to much trying to pop my ears because I kept fluid behind ear drums. The fluid is gone but ear pain, pain behind my left eye, my left side of my face hurts, and sometimes the pain goes to my neck. I don t have the money for a splint. Why does it feel like cold air hitting my face makes it worse?
Hi there, welcome to Healthcaremagic Pain coming from over-stretching the temporomandibular joint can be very severe and debilitating for a while. It will probably eventually settle on its own but the very least you need now is a good so-called non-steroidal (NSAI).
Other treatment options are a course of steroids -- Prednisolone or, best of all, an injection of steroid into the joint space itself. You are going to have to see a doctor I'm afraid.

Why Does It Feel Like Cold Air Hitting My Face Makes It Worse?
My case of TMJ is only minor because I am able to open my mouth up to 2 inches. Sometimes it pops out of place or gets stuck.
