welcome to hcm, short answer. hypoglycemia is due to your insulin regimen change the regimen. In my opinion, the hypoglycemic episode you are now experiencing is due to the high intake of insulin intake in the evenings. and in the mornings after taking the insulin you have some physical activity and in the evenings you take the same amount of insulin and you go to bed with no physical activity that is the reason for mid night and evening hypoglycemia convey with your treating physician and change the insulin regimen if i were your treating physician i will ask you to do a fasting and postprandial blood sugar levels and i usually prescribe half of the insulin dosage you are using in the morning .if you have a low fasting blood sugar levels,my insulin regimen for you will be 18-14-9 try this .
