Hello dear, I have gone through your query. I will try to give my best possible advice. Feeling of numbness in your mouth may due to injury to the nerve endings by the hot tea and havent repaired completely yet. If I were the treating doctor, on the basis of your given informations I would advice these • Eat lots of green vegetables and fruits. • Drink plenty of water and fluids. • Apply topical gel Kenacort or Tess or Oraways thrice daily for 5-7 days. • Use chlorhexidine mouthwash twice daily preferebly in morning and night. • Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after using mouthwash or gel. • Take one capsule of antioxidant (lycospring or nutri-Z ) daily for 15 days, it will accelerate overall healing process of the nerve tissue and other oral tissue. Most probably the symptoms will start subsiding soon if not consult your dentist for futther investigations. Hope this will help you Thank You and Take Care Regards
