Why Does One Spew Up Blood After Consuming Alcohol?

yesterday I spewed up some blood when I was sick after a big night on alcohol. Two days earlier I have a big one also and found I had bad reflux during the night. This consumption is not normal for me, just over the xmas break.



Two days later and no more blood, yet my stomach and abdomen region feels swallen/bloated.

Hello,

The common reason for blood vomit after alcohol is erosive gastritis with or without a gastric ulcer. I recommend upper gastrointestinal endoscopy for further management guidelines.
