Why Does Patellofemoral Syndrome Have More Pain When Climbing Stairs?
Hello, I am an student physiotherapy and we had to search for something about the "knie-in syndrome" in relation with the "patellofemoral syndrome. I have searched at the internet and in books but we can't find something about it. We had to know why someone with the "patellofemoral syndrome" have more pain when someone go off the stairs than if you go up the stairs. Do u maybe can help me with this? already thank you

Hi, When u climb down the stairs the patellofemoral joint is the most strained. When climbing up its the tibiofemoral component. So there is more pain while climbing down because of the joint involved.
