I have noted your symptoms. I agree with your doctor that
nicotine patches usually does not produce seizures.
So, it is better to use anti-seizure medications. These medications are usually required for 3-5 years, even longer in some cases.
Regarding driving, you should check the local laws, as driving is prohibited for varying periods of time since the last seizure.
