Why Hasn't Migraine Medication Helped With Severe Headaches?

I have been having headaches on and off for about ten years they are centered around and behind my eye one or the other. I have tried Migraine meds and esgic as well as muscle relaxers. The only relief I seem to get is from running hot water over the affected eye. The pain is excruciating. I am male 30 years old.

it may not be a migraine . in my opionion you need to consult doctor and get a complete check up of eyes as well as MRI brain. though a long history of pain suggest no severe pathology . it can be cluster headache though
