Why Is Fetal Pole Not Visible?
hi doc my lmp was 3 nove 2011 but my ges age is only 6 weeks. on my 50th day scan it showed ges sac yolk sac crl4.4 heartbeat 62bpm bu within 2 days they said tthat no fetal pole or yolk san,please let me know why.i do not have bleeding or spotting. my friend who is also a doc said that it might have hidden in the margin of th e sac.please clear my doubts

hi your could have been suffering from missed abortion or blighted ovum. get your 48 hrly b hcg titres done and USg done after about 1 week . wait for spotting to start in case no spotting and next ultrasound also shows no fetal pole then you would need a mtp.
