Why Is My Mothers Left Leg And Hand Doesn't Work After Neurology Operation?
Hi My mother had an neurology operation, because of High Blood Pressure. This was on the year 2008 september. Since then her left leg and hand doesn't work. Only when we give support, she would be able to walk. But hand it doesn't respond at all.. Is it possible to recover her by doing some physiotherapy exercises....

Yes,regular and appropriate physiotherapy prevents in wasting(thinning of muscle)of muscles.And later there is a therapy called as stem cell therapy an evolving field which may help for treatment.So its highly recomended to go for physiotherapy.Since the right part of the brain didnt get blood supply,due to repture of blood vessel,that too due to high pressure exerted on blood vessel, that right part is not functional.So one has to waite for reasearched,evidence based treatment.
