Two days ago i was at the dentist having a filling replaced. it was a large filling and the dentist had to use additional novacaine. I was in the chair for about an hour. After I was done, I went to my car and as I was sitting down getting my seatbelt on, I started having intense abdominal pain, my diaphragm felt rigid and i could only take shallow breaths. I returned to the dentist's office and they had me lie down and breathe oxygen. Although I can eat and digest fine, my stomach still feels very sore. Not sure what happened and how to relieve the pain. I am 47, 5'8" and 137lbs. No major health issues.
Hi With your query, as such there is no relation between the filling and stomache and anesthetic solution is used only when there is a deep carious lesions otherwise no one uses anesthetic solution. Since you complain of stomache are you sure that anesthetic solution didnot went into your stomache if it is gone also nothing much happens so there is no way relationship between these two. Hope thus helps you
