Why Is The Fever Not Reducing In A 6month Old Baby Who Has RSV And Is On Tylenol And IB ?

6 month old had had rsv for past 2 weeks. was doing GREAT tues wed and thurs starting friday staring getting fever topping at 104.6 and not going below 99.6 have been roatating tylenol and IB every 4/6 hours. what to do ? RSV... for the last 2 weeks. oxygen at home. was doing great on tues wed and thurs now has a temp since last night around 6ish topping at 104.6 and nnot going below 99.6

Fever could be super added infections in the lungs. It could possibly pneumonia. I will recommend take your child to Pediatrician or Hospital and get the Chest- X ray and CBC, Blood culture. I will Prefer Empiric antibiotic therapy along with the tests.
