Why My Veins Appear Green And Visible From Ankle To Thigh?
2 weeks ago I had a large clot running up the inner side of my left leg from my ankle starting in the Greater Saphenous Vein and extending into my Femoral vein. I was hospitalized and discharged with orders for 20mg Xarelto daily. Tonight I notice that on the outer side of the same leg tonight my veins appear very green and visible from my ankle to my thigh. Should I be worried?
You already had a clot ( thrombus ) in your entire vein on lt. side running from ankle to saphenous femoral junction. There can be again thrombus in your vein near saphenous femoral junction causing back pressure and prominent vein . So consult your doctor.
