Hi my name is Susan. I have a foot sprain. I fell on black ice outside home. So far now its been a week and my foot is still a bit swollen and hurts. The day after my accident, i went to the hospital and they took an xray. No broken bone or fracture. I was given an air splint and was told to take Motrin for pain. I never had a sprain, so i thought it will heal in a few days. I need to see my doctor this coming week. But i was wondering if you can answer a question. Why is the top part of my foot itching?! I also have a cut/bruise, on my foot, from my fall that is so so tender to the touch. The cut is a scab now but its sooo tender when i lightly touch it. It gives me a weird tingling feeling under my skin. What is it? Thank you for your help.
