Will Norethisterone Affect The Pregnancy?

I took 2 (5mg) tablets of Norethisterone over two days because I thought I would get my period and just wanted to postpone it for a few days. But it has been 5 days since I stopped using it and still no period. There is a chance I could be pregnant. Is the Norethisterone going to have an effect if I am pregnant?

Hello,
If you have taken the tablets just before your expected date, it is likely that they fail to work and moreover, you did not use adequate dose. Should you be pregnant, given the fact that you have taken only two tablets and that too, so early, is not likely to create any problem. First of all, please confirm/exclude pregnancy through a HPT with a fresh early morning sample, if you are at least 3 days past dates and then go on for further management by a specialist based on the result. Hope this helps.
