Will RUQ Pressure & Belching Post Cholecystectomy Cease With Time?

I am 12 days post cholecystectomy for biliary dyskinesia. My primary complaint pre-op was RUQ pressure & belching. The pressure is better except when I have the belching , which is improved but not gone. Will this continue to improve over the next few weeks or will I be stuck with this?

Gastroenterologist 's  Response
Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am a Gastroenterologist.

I think this should improve with time. However I will advise you to avoid tea, coffee, oily and spicy food. Also avoid citrus fruits. Among medications take a proton pump inhibitor like rabeprazole and a prokinetic agent like domperidone.

I hope I have answered your query and this will help you . Wish you a good health
