Will Constant Intake Of Labebet Tablet In Pregnancy For Maintaining BP Affect The Baby?
Dear sir, my wife is now doing 37 weeks of pregnant. She is taking labebet 100mg tablet for maintaining blood pressure. she used to get chest pain often and body pain too. But the pressure is in controlled limit showing 125/90 after taking the tablet. My fear is, is this will affect the baby by using the tablets continuously? Now she is taking 5- 6 tablets a day. Pls advise sir,

It is uncontrolled B.P. which effect the fetus .So if the pregnant lady is suffering from B.P, she has to be on B.P. contorting drug for the safety of fetus; mother; normal growth and normal delivery ,High B.P. during pregnancy cause complications .You wife’s B.P.is well controlled on drug
As regards these drugs being used by your wife your doctor can tell you better
Wish you normal progression and lines free pregnancy period and healthy bay
