Will Having A MRI Help In Case Of Acute Labyrinthitis?

I was diagnosed with Acute Labyrinthitus 9 weeks ago. I have been lightheaded or dizzy or felt weird and have weird vision every day. Should I have a MRI to see if more is going on with me? Life is hard as a mom, wife and tennis player with these symtoms.

hi
acute labyrinthitis usually is viral .
in labyrinthitis MRI is done to rule out other causes of ur symptoms .
symptoms like vertigo and dizziness takes few weeks to come down .
minimal edema in ur labyrinth can cause vertigo often .
only symptomatic treatment with antihistamines and tab vertin is needed .
for a patient who comes to my clinic , I will order MRI Only if I suspect intracerebral ( brain )pathology.
I think I have answered your questions.
I will be happy to answer any doubts if u have .
thank u
