Will Hernia Surgery Effect My Ability To Maintain An Erection?
I am 41 and just had bilateral inguinal hernia surgery 5 weeks ago. I am curious as to if it could effect my ability to maintain an erection. I can get an erection and so simply roll onto my back and the erection diminishes. I also have some pain in my groin, lower than where my hernia repair was. Any insight?
hello Thanks for query . You have undergone surgery for Bilateral Inguinal Hernia 5 weeks ago and worried about the erectile dysfunction .
The surgery of herniorrhaphy does not interfere with erection at all .The pain that you have is due to inflammation still being there in near vicinity of site of surgery and due to anxiety ..
Do not worry you will have normal erection and will have enjoyable sex after 2 months when the inflammations subsides completely .
