Will I Get Placenta Previa During My Next Delivery?

Hi I m nabia I am 26 years old I gave a birth to a baby boy on 10 of November 2011 he died in 12 hours because I had placenta previa I bleeded very very badly and so he got infection I had caeserean and delivered a premature baby in 29 weeks I wanted to ask that now wen I get pregnant again and that will I get placenta previa next time also thanks

Hi dear and thanks for your query.

Having palcenta previa in the first pregnancy increase risk to have the same in the other pregnancy.
There are some reasons that increase chances ,such as :
Scars in the lining of the uterus, such as from previous surgery
A large placenta, such as with a multiple pregnancy
Being 35 or older during pregnancy
Having had babies
Smoke
Use cocaine

You can do nothing to stop development of placenta previa ,only do not smoke and follow advice of your doctor .
