Will Low Prednisone Dose Help In Avoiding Bed Wetting?
I m 58 and weigh 138 lbs, in fairly good shape and have been having trouble sleeping because of a bad cough with cold. I tried 15 mg prednisone at bed time last night. only to awaken to a wet bed. if I lower dose to 10 mg prednisone will I still wet the bed.
You should consider taking the prednisolone in the morning. Steroids are normally taken in the morning, in keeping with when our bodies release its own steroids.
That way, when we stop the steroids, there would be no issue with coordination with the body's own release.
It would still help your cough, if it is taken in the morning. It may help better because by the time night time comes around, the morning dose would have had time to reduce the inflammation in the chest.
I hope this helps
