Will Nervousness Affect The ECG Result?
hello doctor, i have been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and i had thyroid panel blood tests, neck ultrasound and ecg. While the ecg was being done, i felt i got nervous and when the results came out, it shows i had a fast heart beat, do you think my nrevousness would have affected my ecg result

You don't worry.Tachycardia(fast heart beat)is most likely due to nervousness.
However hyperthyroidism also causes tachycardia but it also causes ectopics and arrhythmia,so it should be excluded.
