Will Taking Femiplan Birth Control Pills Have Any Affect On Pregnancy?
I have been on femiplan Birth control pills for 3 years. I want to conceive my 2nd born baby. does the BC pills have any effect on conception? does it cause hormanal imbalance? should i wait for some time before conceiving or i can conceive immediately after i stop. Advise pliz
Hi, Thanks for the query. Usually using contraceptive pills for short period of time may not have much effect on fertility. After stopping the pills, it may take some time for regularization of the menstrual cycles and for re staring of ovulation. So, better to plan for pregnancy two to three months after stopping the pills. When you plan for pregnancy, track the ovulation either by ovulation kit or by physiological methods.
