Will Taking Mucinex Prior Surgery Be Safe?
I am scheduled for knee replacement in one week. I usually take mucin ex for lung congestion after severe pneumonia last year . The nurse told me I could take benedryl for nasal allergies to replace the Allegra and ZYrtec this week prior . Can I take the mucinex prior to surgery?

Before surgery your complete health check up is a must Your chest should be clear before surgery. x-ray chest can be taken. All required treatment can be taken before surgery.
