Will The Indentations Caused By Cauterization Of Moles Get Filled In?

I got a couple of moles on my face cauterized last Friday. The scabs came off Monday and Tuesday but they were not 100% healed. They look to be healing now but it looks like I have pock marks where they did it. Will these indentations fill in. How much longer will it take to completely heal?

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic.

The indentation that have been left behind are because the moles usually extend deep into the dermis.

Normally the indentations left after mole removal surgery gets gradually filled up as the scar gets remodeled continuously over time. This might take a few weeks or months.
