I have had a comminuted fracture of tibial shaft 1-1/2 months ago and got it repaired after a surgery when a plate is placed to support it with nine screws. Now, after so much stitches, there is a wound left which has not yet healed and that plate is visible through that wound. My question is that will it heal on its own or there is something to be done to cover it.
