Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain the symptoms of extreme
dry mouth along with dry throat along with discomfort in tongue seems the be due to side effects of
Wellbutrin as
xerostomia is a common side effect of Wellbutrin intake..
Rest of the symptoms are also due to dry mouth only..
I would suggest you to chew sugarfree chewing gums and also suck tart candies as it will help in stimulating saliva flow and will definitely ease your symptoms..
You can gargle with specialized mouthwashes that are formulated for dry mouth patients like
Biotene..
You can instil artificial saliva drops containing Methylcellulose..
Drink plenty of water..
Limit intake of coffee, tea, tobacco..
Avoid smoking as it will cause dry mouth and throat as well as inflammation in mouth and throat..
Limit intake of spices as it can irritate the tongue..
Maintain a good
oral hygiene..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
