Would Stomach Tenderness With Nausea And Diarrhoea Be Food Poisoning?

My husband has been nauseous, has diarrhea, and the right side of his stomach is hard and the left side is soft. He thinks it is food poisoning. He had instetinal cancer a couple years ago and received treatment. Could he have the stomach bug or something worse??

I really appreciate your concern, the given symptoms are not due to the food poisoning but it seems to be more or less due to protozoa infection and such infection can cause the dyspepsia too.
If I would be doctor of this case then I would try to treat this case with Ofloxacin 400 mg with Tinidazole 350 mg once in day for three days, it is advisable to take care in diet too, try to have the light diet, without spice, oil,
