Wound After Road Rash, Given Clindamycin, Oozes Pus. Is It Healing?
Two weeks ago, I fell on gravel and got some pretty deep road rash . I was given clindamycin for 10 days. Today i while cleaning with soap and water, I gently peeled off the greenish/ whiteish goo covering the road rash (that I thought was a scab.) The road rash looks pink and red and is continuing to ooze a small amount of white/ yellow pus . Do I need to go back to the doctor, or is this part of the healing process?

As your wound is discharging pus after 10 days of injury you need to clean it properly as no healthy granulation tissue is there.
Consult your doctor he will clean the wound removes pus & dead tissue so that your wound will heal properly.
