X-ray Showed Spot In Upper Right Lobe. Possible To Have PTB Even If Don't Have Cough, Sneezing?
hi gudeve doc i just want to ask something, i got my x-ray result for my company req., and the doctor said that i have a spot in my upper right lobe (re: PTB RU lobe activity undetermined) and need to undergo a treatment for almost 6 months, my question is; its possible to have a ptb even if i dont have cough and sneezing?

From the description provided it is not very clear if you have active tuberculosis or this is just an old lesion.
If you do not have any symptoms we need to perform more tests like sputum for AFB, ESR and if needed a CT scan of the chest before starting anti tuberculosis treatment.
Please consult a chest medicine specialist for further treatment.
