Heavy Periods Is It OK?

been having very heavy periods for years im 23 years old with lots of cancer in my family would i be able to get a hystrectmiy as im sure i dont want any kids all advice welcome

you do not have to have a hysterectomy to stop having periods. There is a procedure where they go in and burn the lining of your uterus and that stops you from having periods. I had a friend who was having severe periods and alot of pain with them and this is what the doctor did for her. Ask you doctor about this procedure and have him explain it to you and then make a decision from there. This woman I told you about was only 22 but she had two children and knew she did not want any more.
