Hi, my father has been fitted with a peacemaker.He is 63 of age.Can he go to sauna ,steam room or jaccuzzi? Thank you Paula

YES YOUR FATHER CAN GO FOR SAUNA,STEAM AND JACCUZZI

PATIENT HAVING PACEMAKER SHOULD AVOID RADIATION JUST LIKE IN CT SCAN AND X RAY, MAGNETIC RADIATION JUST LIKE DURING MRI SCAN AS THESE MAY CAUSE PACEMAKER MALFUNCTIONING.
