Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic
You seem to have a condition known as Acne Rosacea Or simply Rosacea.
In acne rosacea there easy flushability of malar areas/ cheeks associated with bumps or pimples.
Later on there may be persistent redness.
Oral antibacterials can be started e.g doxycycline,
minocycline etc to help resolve bumps/ pimples.
Besides oral antibacterials, topical antiacne antibacterial preparations that would be useful are
clindamycin 1% gel,
benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel, twice daily.
Topical retinoids e.g adapelene gel may be used over the whole affected area.
Topical retinoids are comedolytic as well as antiinflammatory and therefore help with acne/ bumps associated with rosacea.
Treatment is long term and once significant improvement has been achieved
Oral antibiotics may be discontinued.
Topical retinoids like either Azaleic acid Or adapalene gel help maintain the improvement.
Azaleic acid is particularly useful for sensitive skin because it is antiinflammatory.
Since your skin is sensitive I suggest you to use a gentle cleanser for face wash e.g cetaphil cleansing lotion, twice daily.
I suggest you to visit a
dermatologist. Your dermatologist will assess the severity of your condition and advice accordingly.
You should wear a gel based sunscreen whenever out in the sun.
