Sometimes only two features are present in some patients and even then it can be referred as Yellow Nail syndrome. More than 40% of the patients will have Bronchiectasis.

It is considered to be a very rare syndrome in which there are dystrophic yellow discolored nails along with pleural effusion. Sometimes the disease is also associated with chronic sinusitis and persistent coughing. Most commonly the victims are adults. Lymphedema presents as swelling of some or other body part which is due to either the blockage of the vital lymph system or may be due to some damaged in the lymphatic drainage system. The pleural effusion is generally recurrent and most of the times it is troubling and results in symptoms.
