Does Intake Of Meprate Help In Delaying Menstruation?
Question: Its my wedding this weekend april 17th and have to postpone my periods till may 4th. Is it okay if i take meprate starting today and continue till may 4th? or is there any substitute?
I have used meprate last week for 5 days expecting periods atleast by today. But i did not get my periods with the dosage. So is it ok to take meprate till may 4th? or can i use femilon without start of my cycle and will my period be postponed with femilon in this case??

Brief Answer:
Regestrone
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Rather than using meprate, you should use Regestrone 5 mg tablet to delay the periods till the time you require.
Usually withdrawal bleeding occurs within 3-7 days of stopping meprate or Regestrone.
You should not wait for the periods and rather start the drug from today onwards.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Hi
Thanks for the quick response. Does regestrone act as a birth control pill as well? or should we take protection if we are trying sex?
