Should I Use Barrier Contraception While Taking Birth Control Pills?
Hi,I am currently taking primolut N due to 4 weeks of heavy menstrual bleeding. After one day the bleeding has stopped. I had a baby 8 months ago and my Doctor prescribed me Noriday 28 as a form of birth control as I was breast feeding. Both contain the active ingrediant norethisterone. However the primolut N literature states it can not be used as birth control however it is exactly the same as my birth control only in a much higher dose (15mg per day vs, 350mcg).
My question is do I still have to use barrier contraception even though primolut N is the same as my contraceptive pill?

Use combine contraceptive pills not this as it is more effective. Use one month barrier method even if you are on pills, do after measures
